YUKON KODIAK AND DIME GOLD PROPERTIES
In 2009 Stina acquired a 100% interest in the Kodiak Gold Property in the Yukon’s White District which is currently undergoing a modern day gold rush led by Underworld Resources which has shown strong drilling results on its Golden Saddle and Arc targets.

Stina’s Kodiak Property consists of 152 claims covering 30 square kilometers and ties on to the southern side of Underworld White Gold Property, south of Golden Saddle. The Kodiak claim block also straddles Thistle Creek, which was the richest placer gold-producing creek in the area, more than 63,000 ounces of placer gold since the turn of the century.

A re-examination of the Geological Survey of Canada Database for similar positive indicators of white-style mineralization on the Kodiak property, found anomalous gold and arsenic levels in silt samples collected from streams that drain from the Kodiak property. The presence of elevated gold and arsenic values suggests potential for mineralization similar to that identified by Underworld Resources.

As Underworld and other junior mining companies operating in the White District have had considerable success using soil geochemical surveys to pinpoint areas of gold mineralization, Stina is optimistic that its initial program will identify targets on the Kodiak Gold Property. Stina has recently completed an initial sampling program on the Kodiak, which could be fast-tracked if targets are identified as there is an access road and airstrip along Thistle Creek.

Stina has also entered into an option agreement for a 100% interest in the Dime property located in the Ten Mile Creek Area, also in the Yukon’s White Gold District. The Dime property was formerly explored by Teck Cominco and Phelps Dodge and contains part of a former Teck target. Stina awaits an initial 43-101 report and expects TSX-V acceptance of the transaction in the very near future.

Stina is preparing an exploration program for the Dime Property on the former Teck target, and intends to discuss joint venture opportunities with neighboring exploration parties with the intention of increasing the value of this very promising property.
